Winter is coming and many aspiring entrepreneurs are in active search of interesting winter business ideas.

Previously I posted some options for a small winter business without any significant investments. But today I decided to add another idea that could be a good source of income for the few months before Xmas holidays – business on greeting cards.

Even with the growing threat of e-cards, the greeting card industry remains very strong. Industry estimates show that over 7.4 billion cards were sold to Americans last year, and about 1/3 of them were created by freelancers.

If you have the talent for photography, painting, calligraphy, and writing, this may be the business for you. And if you don’t have any of these talents, then just pick out those xmas card ideas don’t require any special skills, like the one I’ve found today.

What you need?

– cardboard cards

– scissors

– glue

– dried leaves, branches of different sizes

– spices – star anise, cinnamon sticks

– bay leaf

Cut a blank postcards from cardboard. Glue the largest dry leaf on the front of your postcard.

Glue on two smaller leaves and a star of anise on top.
