Green business – dance to save the Earth!
„Go green” trend is one of the leading business trends for 2011 and its popularity still grows and conquers new markets. Here comes one unique eco business idea from UK.
On October 2008 London clubbers discovered new way of environmental friendly fun – eco nightclub Club4Climate. 60% of energy that powers the club is generated by the springy dance floor. The springs in the floor are connected to power generating blocks made of piezoelectric crystals. Besides this, club is selling organic spirits served in polycarbon cups and the bathrooms feature a recycled water system for flushing the toilets. Entry to the club costs about $20, but clubbers who can prove they arrived on foot, bicycle or public transportation will get a free pass.
Club4Climate’s owner, millionaire Andrew Charalambous, is the pioneer of eco clubbing, but I’m pretty sure that this interesting new business idea will inspire entrepreneurs all other world to make money in an ecologically responsible way.
