Unique business idea for travel market
When you take your vacation there are various problems to solve: who’s going take your part of work in the office, who’s going water your flowers and last but nor least – where to board your pet while you’re away. Every pet owner has faced this problem at least once, but usually much more often. There are many pet hotels for cats and dogs and even some hotels who accept snakes. But what if your beloved pet is a goldfish? Dutch travel agency D-reisen came up with an interesting business idea – specialized goldfish hotel.
The Goudvissen Hotel is situated in the Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam, Holland) and offers its guests individual rooms, a swimming pool, and a tennis court, as well as plenty of lounge chairs. It has 80 permanent residents; however, your fish will be placed in a special area so they don’t get mixed up with the other goldfish, and do not catch each other’s diseases. And if one of your goldfishes dies while you are gone, you can choose another fish from among the permanent residents to take back home with you.
For me it look like an unusual marketing trick that travel agency uses for self promotion. Anyway such hotel can become an independent business project, a perfect example of a unique business idea for travel market.
