Business idea for mompreneurs – aromatherapy for kids

fairytale wishes 300x220 Business idea for mompreneurs aromatherapy for kids

Smelling is one of basic ways how people explore the world around them. Ancient Egyptians and Greeks used aromatherapy in medicine, to cure diseases and to stimulate or to suppress different emotions. Still marketing specialists has a lot more to do in this field and here’s one good example of how to start a unique business selling well known aromatic oils and essences in an unusual way.

In April 2009 a mompreneur Debbie Glickman founded Fairytale Wishes – company that produces a line of all natural aromatherapy sprays for children developed to help them with common childhood fear and anxieties. Currently they have four sprays that come with a bit of “magic” glitter in the bottle and a mini-fairytale on the hang tag that you can read to your child – written by our “magic” Fairytale Wishes Frog, named Freddie. Sweet Dreams Spray (lavender scent) to chase away bad dreams, Monster Repellent (bubblegum scent) to scare away monsters, Super Hero Spray (peppermint scent) for bravery and courage and Happy Camper Spray (grape jelly scent) to get rid of homesickness when being away.

The idea of using different aromas for relaxation and good night sleep is not new, but it s presented in an unusual way, with a touch of creativity that makes it seem innovative and very attractive.

So, what do you think?
