According to latest researches bright light (both natural and artificial) has a great positive effect on human health and mood. Probably this information served as an inspiration for this unusual business niche idea.
Iglo ljuscafe was opened in 2004 in Stockholm. The main idea is a light therapy in a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. This restaurant is a place of total tranquillity: white walls, white furniture and all visitors dressed in white (special ponchos are handed in to each client at the entrance), no music, mobiles phones are not allowed. People come to Iglo ljuscafe for business lunches, morning coffee or simply to take a break from work.
This idea seems perfect as a business niche in restaurant market – expenses are same as with an ordinary cafeteria, but such „bright” restaurant will be much more attractive due to it’s unusual interior as well as peaceful atmosphere.
