Unusual “green” business idea
For the recent 10-15 years Europe and USA has been going „green”. There are thousands of eco friendly business projects that serve for both earning and helping Mother Nature. This unusual business idea is among those socially responsible businesses.
Commercial Drive Business Society places hundred of nylon street banners on Vancouver street. Unfortunately a life of commercial banner is short and this eco unfriendly material goes straight to dust-heaps. That’s the reason why a group of businessmen decided to give new life to old banners, converting them into stylish bags. Banner bags are 30 cm x 41 cm, look funky and are very handly. Their sales price in Canadian shops is about 10 USD which businessmen donate for planting trees and shrubs in town thus promoting their main (advertising) business. Commercial Drive Business Society claims that during first few months of 2009 they recycled 300 kg of nylon.
This unusual business idea can be used the same way – as a free if charge advertising for your main business, but it can also become a separate, commercially succesful and low-budget business!
