Business niche in travel market
May 12th, 2009

I’ve been writing it many times and will repeat again – if you are searching for successful business idea, just choose one of existing business markets and find yourself an unusual niche. Thus you’ll be more or less sure that your goods or services will be demanded and at the same time competition will be low. And the other important condition – you should like what you are doing!
Dutch sculptor and designer Dré Wapenaar keep to these rules and started his unusual niche business on travel market. He invented a peculiar tent – Treetent. Now travellers won’t have to sleep on cold ground, they can hang their tent on a tree and enjoy fresh air and comfort. The Treetent is made of steel, canvas and plywood and measures 15 feet high by nearly 9 feet in diameter. It’s price is $50 000 – wouldn’t call it moderate. Probably the production of this tent is really expensive, but I’m sure Mr. Wapenaar also include a certain profit in this sum…
