Car insurance business – ladies first!
Today I stumbled upon an article about UK insurance market with review of some new services offered by local insurance companies. What can I say? You have to have the guts to offer insurance services exclusively for women in such a sexless business sphere like insurance and in such a liberal country as UK!
Sheila’s Wheels insurance company based their business on services for lady drivers. In addition to standard insurance packages they offer such extras like insurance policy for sudden car breakage, insurance of car audio systems and ladies handbags (for a sum up to 300 UK pounds) in case it will be stolen from a car.
Company cooperates with service centers where employees are specially trained to deal with female clients (for example not to laugh when a lady can’t remember the model of her car). Other special service of Sheila’s Wheels – specially designed car safety belts for women with large breast.
Company operates on the market for already 3 years and became quiet popular. Apart from their official web-page you can also find various sites of Sheila’s Wheels fans. That’s what I call a great positioning and perfect marketing strategy!
