I’ve been suspecting that Russians are the most shifty in this part of the world for quiet awhile, and now I finally found a great proof of this!
One of Russian bloggers posted a very peculiar information: an enterprising guy from Moscow invented a small, but profitable business on banknotes. He studies banknotes, searching for numbers that would match any of the telephone numbers in the country. Then he calls to this number and offer to buy „lucky” banknote. Of course the price that he asks is not the face value, it’s 3-5 times higher. For example he sells 10 RUB for 50 RUB and 50 RUB for 100 RUB.
