Many times I’ve heard the thought that Russian people are among those with best imagination. It always seemed a stereotype for me, but when I found an article about this e-shop created by a couple of guys from Saint-Petersburg, I changed my mind completely!
This shop sells some very specific gifts like perfume with a very nice aroma that starts to stink few hours after it was applied or dolls that can „say” nasty things. You think this shop will never find its customers? You’re wrong, it become more and more popular every day because it is called „Revenge shop„ and people buy these presents to revenge to their offenders and enemies.
The shop has a range of standard goods, but managers can always help you to invent and prepare for you something really special. Like, for instance, a bunch of flowers which will scratch your enemies hands severely.
The owners of the shop claim that their business is absolutely low budget: the total cost is $1000 which they paid for the web-page itself (design & development). After that you only have to wait for your clients. When a customer has ordered a present, he pays 100% of it’s cost and company buys/makes the gift and arrange delivery to the buyer. Sometimes people don’t want to reveal themselves. In this case managers of the shop can personally come to the victim with flowers, balloons and smiles on their faces and person will never even know who has arranged the revenge.
In my point of view the popularity of such shop is just another proof of the well known truth – most profitable businesses are based on the vilest of human traits.
