Everyone who had ever tried to make an exquisite marinade for meat for barbecue party knows what a nightmare it can be: you have to use a lot of species and it’s really hard to clean your hands off afterwards. Alan Segel came up with a great business idea when he found himself in this situation.

He decided that the best thing to avoid all these troubles is to „glue” a mix of species on to a thin shit of paper. To use the species you only need to put a piece of meet or fish on the paper and put it in the oven. While the food is baking, species are soaking into it, making it flavored, with a tasty crust all around.

The cost of a pack of 12 papers is $6 – quiet a moderate price which makes this set very popular. In 2007 Alan earned $1.2 millions – not bad! Simple, but very profitable business idea!
