Nikolay Antonov, IT specialist from Sankt-Petersburg in his childhood dreamt of becoming an astronaut just like many other boys. This dream wasn’t meant to become reality, but outer space always attracted this young man. In 2006 Nikolay decided to start his own business and his childhood dream suddenly came up to his mind. He considered the fact that there are thousands of people like him, who are dreaming of space, but are not able to get there due to financial and health factors and on 12 April 2006 founded a project of sending photos to the space „V kosmos” (translation from Russian – To the outer space).
Within the framework of this project a photo catalogue with photos and logos of participants of the project will be send to the space together with one of the expeditions. The catalogue 20×25 cm will consist of 133 pages (133 rockets) with 1000 photos on each page. Minimal size of one place – 1×1 cm and the cost of it is 33 RUB (~ 1 EUR). The „start” of these „rockets” is planed for 2009.
Sounds a good idea for an unusual business! If you have some contacts in NASA and your contact person will persuade one of the astronauts to take a little photo album in the next expedition for a small reward, then don’t wait, start collecting money right away!
