Start your own soap making business
This is a story of Anne-Marie Faiola, which turned her hobby in a real profitable business.
Company BrambleBerry established by Mrs. Faiola is a home-based soap making fabric. She always liked to make aromatized hand-made soap and one day she decided to leave her main work and start a soap making business. She launched an online shop and received her first order right away. Even though the average cost of one order is about $75, the whole family now makes a living out this business. After awhile Anne-Marie already had a possibility to rent an office and to invest into researches and artistic explorations. Recently there are more then 2500 different items on her web-page.
The best thing about this business is that it’s easy to start! There are numerous e-shops selling all necessary equipment (like http://www.soapcrafters.com, for example) and this equipment is not too expensive, what also makes soap making business quiet attractive. You can start by making small quantity of different soap and selling it via internet or your local souvenir shop. If things will go on well, then you can launch a specialized e-shop or offer your products to big supermarket chains.
Of course there are a lot of shops selling aromatized soaps with natural ingredients, but they are industrially manufactured and that makes a great difference. Even if you, in your home based soap making fabric, will produce something similar to what can be found in the shops, your goods will still be much more popular. People always prefer hand-made goods because they are made from the heart and it makes these goods much more precious.

Though I am flattered that you used my story (thank you), I do wish to point out that there are a few inaccuracies in the telling of the story.
1. I never got to only work 2 to 3 hours a day (though I wish that were the case)
2. We had orders almost immediately starting the site
3. We have around 2500 items on our site
